You may have seen the press and social media coverage about the Successful Sutton Shopper Shuttle being shortlisted for the prestigious 2016 British BID Awards.
The shuttle service has been a great success and is very popular amongst shoppers in Sutton High Street. It is funded by local businesses, demonstrating their commitment to making our High Street more vibrant and accessible.
This awards programme is the highlight of the BID industry calendar and everyone wants to win! There are over 230 BIDs nationally, over 50 of which proposed projects for consideration; these projects were whittled down to a long list and then a shortlist. The final stage is all about Successful Sutton demonstrating its community engagement by getting as many people as possible to vote. You can find out more about the awards here.
